What do I need to use the WRCU Mobile Banking App?
You need an Android or Apple phone or tablet running at least Android V5.0 or Apple IOS 11.0. Most devices that are less than a few years old meet these requirements. You also need a data connection through your wireless carrier or a WiFi connection. You must also be enrolled in WRCU online banking.
Is the app free?
Yes, the app and online banking at WRCU are free. Data charges from your wireless provider may apply.
Where do I get the app?
Download the app from either Google Play or iTunes, whichever is the appropriate store for your device. For Android - http://bit.ly/androidwrcu Apple - http://bit.ly/applewrcu If you search either app store for the app, make sure you download the all for the WRCU in Vermont, not the one in Washington! Look for our logo.
Are the balances in the app current?
Yes, the app shows real-time financial data.
How do I see my transaction history?
On the welcome screen, tap the account you want to see the history for.
Why do I have to register my device?
This is security measure for your protection. If you want to do the whole process from your tablet or phone, we recommend that you use the register by email option. The Internet option requires that you have access to a computer.
What if my device is lost or stolen?
Someone would have to know your username and password to access online banking, but we recommend that you call us so we can change your password. Monitor your accounts carefully if this happens. We recommend that you set up alerts if you haven’t already.
How do I deposit a check from my device?
Tap the deposit icon and follow the instructions to get set up. You must request access for remote deposit the first time you use it. More Details
Is the mobile app secure?
Yes. The mobile app is a secure as our desktop online banking product. All data transmissions are encrypted.
How is the app different from WRCU mobile banking?
WRCU mobile banking runs in a browser. The app is self-contained, developed exclusively for WRCU.
Are there things I can’t do in the mobile app?
There are some things that have to be done in our desktop program, Mobicint, on a computer on in a browser on your phone. Access Mobicint from our website, www.whitercu.com. Please see this matrix for details.
Can I get alerts on my phone?
Yes, you can get either email or text alerts sent to your phone. Alerts have to be set up on a computer first. See our alerts page for more information.
What do I do if I get locked out of the mobile banking app?
Call us at 767-3333 and we will unlock your account.
How do I see my other WRCU accounts?
Click on the hamburger menu, scroll down to change account, and pick the account you want to see.
Can I use touch ID or a fingerprint/face scanner to log in to the app?
Touch ID works with the iPhone, it may or may not work with your particular Android phone. On an Android you will most likely have to enter your password. This is due to the many different types of Android phones.
