Fraud Alert: Mail Scam

We have been made aware of members experiencing a "Home Warranty Renewal" scam in which they receive a mailer indicating that their home warranty may be expiring or may have already expired and to take action. The mailer indicates to call 1-800-301-5412 to renew the home warranty and provides a "Registration/Renewal Fee Voucher" for a specified amount of money at the top.

This convincing mailer uses mortgage information that can be obtained through public record. Members should refrain from calling the number listed and providing any personal information. This mailer is not associated with White River Credit Union and should be discarded.
